Discovering what you have in you sometimes takes years, and many people are looking for God’s blessing outside of them, whereas it is written in the scriptures that out of your belly shall flow river of living waters. If you will only believe the finished work of Jesus Christ and begin to search within you, you shall surely discover the provision of God for your life as a Christian. (John 11:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water). All Christians must know that God's provision is always placed in you and not outside of you, it is very doubtful to understand why God will use a rod to direct and perform miracles in the eyes of people but very significant indeed to understand God’s power and how he uses it. I have been thinking about why God performed those miracles in the presence of all Egypt and Israel through the rod of God, recognizing how God chooses the rod in the hand of Moses to be the source of Power for the whole journey of Israel on the desert is the major factor. The question ‘’what is in your hand’’ I know if there were two things in the hands of Moses, when he was asked; He wouldn’t have said a rod but rather, he will look at the one he cherished most. In our life today, there are setting provisions that God has given in abundance for our life today, but because of lack of knowledge and understanding we see them be nothing. My grandmother told me a true story about an old poor hunter who went to the bush one night and found a stone which weigh about 45 pounds . He took the stone that he will use it for grinding tomatoes in the house. This man used the stone for more than two years without discovering the purpose of the stone. One day he was walking around the town and met a man, who procures diamond, gold, and silver, he then approached the man to just have a look at the nature of the so-called diamond, gold and silver. There he grasped and recognized what he has been using as a grinding stone for quite a long time in his life. The man went home to scrutinize what he already had in hand. Fortunately, the man joy and happiness were restored and he has begun to celebrate after discovering what God has given to him. This man sold this diamond and became the richest man on the land in those days.
